Charleroi has sold Jules Gaudin to the French second division club Laval. The French player joined from Paris FC last season, where he had just been promoted to Ligue 1. During his time at Charleroi, Gaudin played 22 matches but failed to make a significant impact. This was his first foreign adventure, after previously playing for EA Guingamp, Bastia, and SM Caen in France. The transfer to Laval marks a new chapter in his career. Charleroi will now need to look for possible replacements for Gaudin, who takes not only his experience but also his talent to France. The club hopes that this change will help them come back stronger in the Jupiler Pro League.
